How I pick owners:
1. You contact me via email.
2. We have a chat
3: You fit my immutable criteria:
a) You must have had previous dachshunds or hard core terriers in your life. These are tough dogs and I don't want anyone learning on my puppies. These are not your average couch pet.
b) No smokers. I made these lungs, I want them cherished.
c) Your life is dachshund ready. Infrastructure is important.
e) I pick which dog you get. My job as a breeder is to get the best possible living situation for my puppies. If you want to track and hunt, I'm going to give you the one that is best suited for that tempermentally and physically. I try to match the puppy's physical and emotional profile to the owner's lifestyle.
4. If you tell me you want a pup and I agree, you instantly put down a non refundable $100 deposit. This is to weed out those still thinking. I have little time to waste, and this is the best way I know to save everyone time and energy. The deposit is fully refundable if the agreed upon gender of the puppy is not born. If you change your mind about gender / color after the pups are born, no refund.
5. At 3 weeks you put down a $500 non refundable deposit.
6.At 7 weeks they are temperament tested. At 8 weeks they get structurally evaluated.
7. After they are 8 weeks old, they can go to their new homes. Contracts are signed the the rest of the payment is expected.

A puppy which has been as thoroughly prepared for integrating into your family as I possibly can.

A high quality crate for training.
My support for the life of the dog. We are basically married for the life of the dog. I am your go-to resource for any problems, questions, ideas, brags, whatever. I use this data to make better breeding decisions down the line. You must stay in touch with me. I have a private Facebook group which makes this easy.
