Week 5 and a half
In which we experience a heat
wave....
It's 102 degrees on a horrible Sunday...
The pups take cover outside under
the sycamore tree.
The Spotster fell asleep chewing on Laura's hair.
Laura left, Spotikins
remains.
We did a little tracking training with the squirrel that lives in my freezer.
Even the babies got in on the action.
The chocolate sibs are up for the game too.
The rabbit skin was a big hit too....
It's never too early to start training.
Nanny Crookie supervises.
Spot discovers the delicious scent of mole....
Crookie becomes enamored with his roommate to be, Spot.
He cleaned him from
top to bottomus and never let him out of his sight.
Because it was so hot, we took the babies to the creek.
Chocolate girl LOVED
it right away. Fearless.
Everyone in the creek!
Poor chocolate boy rolled in and got a bit fussy about
it.
Spotty cries in the creek. He's very much a softie.
He got better when
everyone else got in with him.
3 wet puppies try to tell Nanny Crookie all about their adventure!
Chocolate girl runs and runs. She feels cooler and better now.
