Guinea Fowl
These are birds of African origin. My French grandmother used to served them on special Sundays. I bought some small Guineas from Shank's Hatchery out in Hubbard. They are the wildest, messiest, stinkiest birds ever! But, they are delicious. Here is the Guinea progression.
Just 1 day old. The eggs were from France. The local hatchery wants no part of raising them. They are too destructive. Amen to that!
Here they are about 3 weeks old. They never get tame and they are very skittery.
This is about 3 months. They are now flying about and running along the rooftops.
