The babies have
arrived!
16 April, Scout is thinking really hard about having babies... The latest ultrasound showed 2 normally beating hearts.
She's rooting around in her whelping box and then resting. Rooting, resting. Rooting, resting. Well, you get the idea.
She's also fixated on her little dachshund toy. Her mother had a moon. I guess it's a family trait.
Not too much longer now!

Scoutie loves him instantly.
He's a very strong baby. Great suck, mews, pads. Strong!
Waiting waiting... I told Nicole instead of pizza I would give her some toast as this was to be the shortest whelping ever. But.. I was outvoted. Yummy pizza for all!
The rest of the pack gets a late nite snack too...
9 PM red boy, 9 1/2 oz. Our patience is rewarded!
2nd boy is just as sturdy as his older brother! What a pair!
Here they are.... the twins! Scout is a superb mother.
